Gnome 2.3.1 frozen, can't load desktop anymore..

This doesn't show any crash.

Yeah, this looks like a bad pointer, or uninitialized memory.  aj should
fix this.  I should be able to reproduce this on -STABLE with an AJ
malloc.conf.
