Woes with sodipodi

While installing sodipodi I ran in following
error message:

I have 0.31 version of sodipodi on my machine. I have already
seen one message in this newsgroup with similar
complaints but as I understood no solutions were provided.
So I would ask once more: How can the problem be solved?
