gnome-terminal input weirdness with 5.1-RELEASE

This is the first I've heard about this.  I myself won't be able to test
the gnometerminal and vte packages until tomorrow.  Are the keys actually
being input multiple times, or is this simply an echo thing?  Do you get
any error messages on the console?
