[Follow-up] GNOME session and gnome-theme-manager delays

For those following the thread with Randy Bush's _long_ delays starting
GNOME and certain GNOME applications, the problem was FAM mixed with the
TCP_DROP_SYNFIN kernel option. Randy had gnomevfs2 built with FAM
support, but was not running FAM. Because he had this non-standard
kernel option, gnomevfs2 file methods were not simple returning when
they couldn't reach the FAM server. Instead, they hung...for hours.

Moral of the story: if you build gnomevfs2 with FAM support, make sure
you're running famd. If you want to add TCP_DROP_SYNFIN to your kernel,
be sure you're aware that it may break certain TCP/IP applications.
