sanity check: is 9211-8i, on 8.3, with IT firmware still "the one"

Some info for whoever might be interested:

This web site does not have the new firmware that works on SAS expanders 
(instead has 0309):
http://www.crucial.com/support/crucialfirmware.aspx

But this one does (version 000F):
