Strange ZFS behavior after lock up

I was testing the thread lock patch yesterday when the machine locked
up an I had to do a hard reset.

Now I have to import my ZFS storage pools by hand at every boot.

Maybe I don't understand something, but it seems to me that ZFS should
automatically pick up my storage pools after I re-import them. Or am
I wrong here and need to do something more than just import them?
