ZFS and FAULTED devices (corrupted data), can't make the pool ONLINE again

IIRC, at the time, no - it didn't work to do "zpool offline".  I was a 
while ago though, but I'm fairly certain I tried "offline", "detach", 
and "replace", and even export/import.  I could be wrong, and it could 
be different now though *shrug*.
