belkin FW card not supported?

I posted this to the FreeBSD forums and to the stable mailing list  
without much success.  I have a Belkin F5U503 with TI TSB43AB23  
chipset that 6.0R and 6.1R do not recognized.

class = serial bus
subclass = FireWire


Is there a way to get this up and running?
