Sony CXD1947 support ?

Hello,

I am asked the latest firewire device driver supports Sony CXD 1947
chipset. I just look the CVS repository of the device driver, and found
the chipset information is registered. In my early experience, the 
chipset
is pre-OHCI series, probably derived from Apple PELE chipset.

Anyway, my question is the machine having the this chipset works fine
with the latest FreeBSD ?
