FreeBSD 4.8 and iPod remounting problems

I'm unable to remount my iPod without rebooting first. After unmounting
and removing the iPod, 'fwcontrol -t' does not show the iPod, but
'camcontrol devlist' does, which strikes me as wrong. I'm using FreeBSD
4.8. The iPod is 3rd generation, firmware 2.0.1, formated for Windows.

Details below. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David
