Hi,

I've set up in a my other environment (more or less according to your 
decription) and it still doesnt work..

only difference is that I use the isc-dhcpd server
and tftp from /etc/inetd.conf

is dnsmasq obligatory for running diskless FreeBSD under VBox ?
Under VMware Workstation 8 it works without any problems.
