linux instant client on amd64

I've tried to install linux instant client on freebsd 8 amd64.
As you know, the port won't build on amd64, but I commented the 
ONLY_FOR_ARCHS
and built it anyway.

When I tried to launch sqlplus it returned this error:
ELF binary type "0" not known.
./sqlplus: Exec format error. Binary file not executable.


Is there any workaround I can use? I need oracle client on freebsd 
really bad...
