linuxolator: nxclient 2.1 does not work for me

I've had the old 1.5 installed, which worked fine with the same error. 

I now upgraded to the current nxclient 2.1 from ports, and after the
error msg: 

  Socket: PANIC! Failed to set TCP_NODELAY flag on FD#5 to 1. Error is
22 'Invalid argument'.

the client closes the connection to the server.

I installed the 1.4 client, and this works (same error, though).

Does the 2.1. client work for others? What can I do to get it working?
