I just (coincidentally) joined the list, and I'm absolutely not the
person who can judge how (or if at all) it would be appropriate for
FreeBSD to react to Ritchie's passing. However, since my "conversion"
to Unix, I've had the highest regard for its pioneers, and therefore,
also as a long-time FreeBSD user, would absolutely welcome such
dedication of FreeBSD 9.0 or any appropriate tribute to Ritchie.
