>Description:
The ifconfig(8) man page under FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE, but also the man page dated June 20, 2008 (FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT?) contains typos.

At the end of the section describing 'list sta', the following text can be found:

"By default information elements received from associated stations
are displayed in a short form; the -v flag causes this informa-
tion to be displayed symbolicaly."

The last word 'symbolicaly', should be replaced with 'symbolically'

The last section describing 'list scan', contains the following text:

"By default interesting information elements captured from the
neighboring stations are displayed at the end of each row. Pos-
sible elements include: WME (station supports WME), WPA (station
supports WPA), RSN (station supports 802.11i/RSN), HTCAP (station
supports 802.11n/HT communication), ATH (station supoprts Atheros
protocol extensions), VEN (station supports unknown vendor-spe-
cific extensions)..."

The word 'supoprts' should be replaced by 'supports'.
>How-To-Repeat:
man ifconfig

Search for the words 'symbolicaly' and 'supoprts'.
>Fix:
Replace this sentence:

By default information elements received from associated stations
are displayed in a short form; the -v flag causes this informa-
tion to be displayed symbolicaly.

With this one:

By default information elements received from associated stations
are displayed in a short form; the -v flag causes this informa-
tion to be displayed symbolically.

Replace this sentence:

Possible elements include: WME (station supports WME), WPA (station
supports WPA), RSN (station supports 802.11i/RSN), HTCAP (station
supports 802.11n/HT communication), ATH (station supoprts Atheros
protocol extensions), VEN (station supports unknown vendor-spe-
cific extensions).

With this one:

Possible elements include: WME (station supports WME), WPA (station
supports WPA), RSN (station supports 802.11i/RSN), HTCAP (station
supports 802.11n/HT communication), ATH (station supports Atheros
protocol extensions), VEN (station supports unknown vendor-spe-
cific extensions).
