After install the cvsweb in my system (rh9, perl 5.8.0), i receive
this message in my browser:
Error: $cvstreedefault points to a repository (cvshardware) not
defined in %CVSROOT (edit your configuration file
/usr/local/apache2/conf/cvsweb.conf)
I read some faq messages about this known error and execute a lot of
changes descript. But the error continue.
I set the permission of repository archives chmod a+x -R ...... etc
Follow transcribe my cvsweb.conf
# 'symbolic_name' => ['name_to_display',
'path_to_the_actual_repository']
# Listed in the order specified:
@CVSrepositories = (
'cvshardware' => ['cvshardware', '/home/cvshardware/repo'],
# 'local' => ['Local Repository', '/home/cvs'],
# 'freebsd' => ['FreeBSD', '/home/ncvs'],
# 'openbsd' => ['OpenBSD', '/home/ncvs'],
# 'netbsd' => ['NetBSD', '/home/ncvs'],
# 'ruby' => ['Ruby', '/var/anoncvs/ruby'],
);
# This tree is enabled by default when
# you enter the page
$cvstreedefault = $CVSrepositories[2 * 0]; # The first one
Excuses obvious questions, but i´m heat head with this!!!! Please send
me a solution or a link to solution
Thanks
Jair
