Tried the same experiment with the laptop; didn't get the above failure,
but am seeing many (as in "hundreds") of

atapi_poll called!

with an occasional 

t_delta 15.feae7d37eafc8830 too short

or

t_delta 16.045c565d970952d0 too long

tossed in (maybe one of these t_delta whines for every 60 or so
"atapi_poll called!" messages?).

I'll interrupt the laptop & get it up & running again; the build machine
is still at the DDB prompt.  Each is i386 architecture; each was just
upgraded this morning from r203376 to r203425.
