boot hangs with discrete graphics set in BIOS

Hi,

The laptop has 2 graphics, integrated G45 and ATI HD 3740.
BIOS has 3 settings, integrated, discrete and switchable.
CURRENT boots when BIOS is set to either integrated or switchable.
But boot fails when BIOS is set to discrete (ATI graphics).
I also tried hw.pci.mcfg=0 on loader.conf, but no success.
Boot hangs right after hitting enter after the Boot Menu.
Is there any known solution for this?
