Hmm, ldd uic showed it was getting libpthread.so.1 via qt-mt, but I would 
expect the version built for the port to be free from this problem since the 
port builds qt-mt and uic itself and uses those copies.

Hm...
I just reinstalled Qt using the env LD_LIBMAP thing and now it appears to work 
OK..
