cpio not work using zh_CN.UTF-8 ?

hi,
cpio has problem when parse option using locale zh_CN.UTF-8.
# cpio --version
cpio (GNU cpio) 2.6-FreeBSD
# cpio -d
cpio: You must specify one of -oipt options.
Try `cpio --help' or `cpio --usage' for more information.

# setenv LC_ALL zh_CN.UTF-8
# cpio -d
cpio: invalid option -- d
Try `cpio --help' or `cpio --usage' for more information.
