Bootup message

Hi.

Putting kern.consmute=1 to /etc/sysctl.conf doesnt "kick in" before the system mounts the file systems.
Putting it to loader.conf did not work at all either.
Any idea where to put it to make it work right after execution of /boot/loader ?
