Update the src via HTTP?

Not sure if 'ftp.freebsd.org' carries the CVS there.

However, ftp4.de.freebsd.org (aka ftp.leo.org) carries the
Repo at that location and also allows HTTP download:

http://ftp4.de.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/development/FreeBSD-CVS
