kgdb segfaulting

Hi all,

it seems I have lost the ability to debug kernel coredumps:

# gdb -k kernel.0 vmcore.0
GNU gdb 5.2.1 (FreeBSD)
Copyright 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

are welcome to change it and/or distribute copies of it under certain
conditions.

This GDB was configured as "i386-undermydesk-freebsd"...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

This is a fresh kernel and world from Sat Mar 20 21:55:28 CET 2004, the
vmcore was obtained from ddb via "call doadump".

Does anyone have an idea what's going on here?
