installworld: required proxy user ???

Hi!

installworld fails with

install -o root -g wheel -m 555   if_xl.ko /boot/kernel

id: proxy: no such user
ERROR: Required proxy user is missing, see /usr/src/UPDATING.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src.

Stop in /usr/src.

How do I set up this proxy user? I can't find anything about him
in /usr/src/UPDATING .
