The GDB 6.1.1 update does not include kernel debugging support yet.  It is
in progress and will be done for 5.3.  Until then, you can use the gdb53
or gdb6 ports in order to get kernel support.  The kernel support in these
works but is different architecturaly from what will evently get into the
base system.
