mounting msdos partitions buggy?

How are things usually going? Will this patch be commited to current?
Or are more testers needed (haven't followed the thread (my skill-level told 
me at some pont to quit) but I also had serious fd problems).
I'm tracking current so I'll be testing it if it gets commited.
