Yesterday's -CURRENT fails to attach the onboard fxp on my Gigabyte
motherboard:

fxp0: <Intel 82801BA (D865) Pro/100 VE Ethernet> port 0xb000-0xb03f mem 0xfb050000-0xfb050fff irq 20 at device 8.0 on pci2
fxp0: Disabling dynamic standby mode in EEPROM
fxp0: New EEPROM ID: 0xfffd
fxp0: EEPROM checksum @ 0xff: 0xffff -> 0xbbb9
fxp0: MII without any PHY!
device_attach: fxp0 attach returned 6

Older kernels have no trouble at all:

fxp0: <Intel 82801BA (D865) Pro/100 VE Ethernet> port 0xb000-0xb03f mem 0xfb050000-0xfb050fff irq 20 at device 8.0 on pci2
miibus0: <MII bus> on fxp0
inphy0: <i82562ET 10/100 media interface> on miibus0
inphy0:  10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
fxp0: Ethernet address: 00:0d:61:0a:3b:12

I haven't managed to narrow down the breakage yet.

pciconf -lv says:

fxp0 at pci2:8:0:  class=0x020000 card=0x30138086 chip=0x10508086 rev=0x82 hdr=0x00
    vendor   = 'Intel Corporation'
    device   = '82801EB/ER PRO/100 VE Network Connection'
    class    = network
    subclass = ethernet
