Has anyone taken a look at this?  It fixes a known race condition in the code 
that prevents some combo devices from working and is just a 2 liner.  I 
really think this should get in for 5-STABLE.

Yoshiro-san, sorry if I CC'd you in error, but there doesn't seem to be a  
designated "USB" person and your name was in several recent USB commits.
