Well...

Jails havn't quite changed maintainer because both Robert Watson and
I have some grave concerns about the architectural direction and
control of jails.

The problem with jails is that the code has its fingers all over the
kernel, and therefore more than average attention is needed to the
code and the way things are done.

In addition to that we also have had a hard time defining where we
are headed with jails, for instance there is a patchset out there
which totally virtualizes the network stack, and that may be a better
model for jails etc.

The problem is that neither Robert nor I can currently find the necessary
time to steer/maintain/mentor jails.

So right now we havn't quite appointed a new maintainer for jails,
but we're very much aware that something needs to move, possibly
"us out of the way".
