Chrome's bug site has tens of thousands of open reports, so it's unlikely to
help.

IMO, it should be reported on their subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/
, emphasizing that the problem occurs with Windows and Linux binaries. This
might attract google's attention.
