During install, after entering the root password, one gets:
An installation step has been aborted
On VTY3:
(pwd_mkdb), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

This is running on KVM, on Debian 7, with virtio disks. 1 GB memory, 100 GB disk.
No useful info in backtrace of core file (debugging not enabled).
