>Description:
I have a Dell Studio 1555 which I wanted to put FreeBSD amd64 9-RELEASE on. During the process, I discovered booting from the CD is broken(md5 verified, drive works), almost immediately after hitting:

Looking up /BOOT/LOADER...found

I can't go to the loader prompt it reboots so quickly.

I found this behavior strange, but Google revealed some others with same problems. Trudging on, I tried booting from the memstick version which appears to work and as left me with a bootable FreeBSD install(dual-boot).
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot from a FreeBSD install iso on a Dell Studio 1555
>Fix:
Workaround: Install from memstick.
