 I reproduced your issue on 9.0-RELEASE, but was unable to do so on
 -STABLE as of r236096
 
 I suspect this was fixed by this commit (I'm too lazy to actually
 confirm this):

 That being said, update to -STABLE and check if the problem goes away.
