I have a lot of 

ath0: bad series3 hwrate 0x1b, tries 2 ts_status 0x0
ath0: bad series3 hwrate 0x1b, tries 2 ts_status 0x0

In fact it only appears in some wireless access-point, not at my home. 

Adrian told me to sysctl dev.ath.0.sample_stats=1 and see the output, there is :
