Hi
Some of the newer Seagates are factory shipped with a jumper so that
they are locked at SATA150. Please check the drive, there is a jumper
block at the back next to the SATA/power connectors, then check the
doc for that particular drive how/if any jumpers should be present.
On the drives I've had access to there should be no jumprs present on
the jumper block for full interface speed.
