>Description:
Motherboard pdsm4+, processor Pentium D 3.0, SATA raid 9550SXU-4LP

When I booting from installation disk 6.2-RELEASE-amd64-disc1.iso, computer hangs up, and only hardware reset can help. Last line on boot screen before hangs up:

acd0: CDRW <TSSTcorpCDW/DVD SN-M242C/TS03> at ata0-slave UDMA33

>How-To-Repeat:
Motherboard Supermicro pdsm4+, processor Pentium D 3.0, SATA raid 9550SXU-4LP 6.2-RELEASE-amd64-disc1.iso
>Fix:
Booting with ACPI disabled, install sytem and rebuilding kernel with SMP support.
With a kernel having support SMP, it is booting and works normally.
