>Description:
restore(8) in FreeBSD 4.x could restore Solaris/SPARC ufsdumps, but
restore from 5.x and 6.x cannot do it anymore. It says 'Tape is not a
dump tape'
>How-To-Repeat:
Grab an example of a Solaris/SPARC ufsdump from http://vas.tomsk.ru/test.dmp.gz
and try to restore it first on a 4.x system (should work) and then on
a later system (e.g. 6.2) (won't work).
>Fix:
None that I know of, but something was changed in the code after 4.x
and this useful feature ceased to work.
