 Hello,
 
 It would have been great if you could have just reported this on the
 mailinglists first to discuss this and all before submitting a new PR
 ticket. This doesn't contain enough information imo to make sure that we
 can do something with this.
 
 Tim; I copied you in since you are the maintainer of BSDtar as far as I
 know; I have a bsdtar.core file available for you if you want to have that
 give me a yell. I didn't have my system compiled in with DEBUG options etc
 so I am not sure whether there is relevant data in it.
