When running 6-STABLE, the two SATA drives attached to my Asus A8V-MX motherboard functioned properly when the controller was set to either SATA or AHCI mode. However, after upgrading to a recent 7.0-CURRENT (around March 25th), the drives ceased to be detected by the motherboard, regardless of the mode the controller is set to. More recent versions of 7.0-CURRENT have not rectified the issue. Furthermore, detaching and reattaching the controllers with atacontrol does not cause the detection of the drives.

I have attached both a verbose dmesg and the output of pciconf -lv. I do not see any obvious problems, but I think the regression has something to do with either the bus_dma or ACPI changes that went in during March.
