If I try to delete lots of small files on a FAT32 partition the rm command fails after some minutes with the following message:

SU NB /:rm -r /mnt/oo-install/
rm: fts_read: No such file or directory

You can reexecute the command and it will continue deleting for the same amount of time again.

Extract lots of source code, for instance OpenOffice into a (Fat32 only?) folder an try to delete it by running "rm -r /PATH_TO_FOLDER"
