Netwotk card: Intel 82559 Pro/100 Ethernet
FTP-server: proftpd 1.2.9
Samba: 3.0.10
>Description:
In local network downloading and uploading (with ftp-server or samba-server) from/to FreeBSD 5.3 is fine (about 8 Mb/s). As client I use Windows XP SP2. With windows PPPoE-client I do connection to NAS (Cisco 5350) and try same. Downloading speed is about 1,8 Mb/s, and uploading is about 8 Mb/s.
If I use as a server for downloading and uploading version of FreeBSD 4.9, result identical and for usual network connection and for PPPoE (about 8 Mb/s).
