Hmm - you are right - I did not notice that - so it is in someting which
gets called from this script, or while cron is setting up its environmnet,
or when cron sends the output or something.

In any case - attached below -- with PATH changed.

I'll take an action to sh -x/ktrace to see where the sysctl is coming
form.
