It could be that this patch causes you problems, but to know for sure and to 
find out where it's going wrong I need more information. Could you please be 
more specific in what you could do without the patch, and what doesn't work 
with the patch?

Can you provide the dmesg log events of a kernel with and without the patch 
and show what you think goes wrong there?
