According to
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/cvs-src/2003-September/010467.html
it's possible to add loader_color="YES" to have a colour logo.
Unfortunately it's missing in /boot/defaults/loader.conf so nobody
can find and enable this feature.
Seems to me it should be listed in loader.conf(5) man page too.
