> On TYAN Thunder 2462/Tiger 2460 bge-driven network card (3C996) passes only packets not over some small limit (typically 100-150 bytes). Moreover, this limit may be different after next power-on/off cycle. The same problem appears on the same hardware under Windows XP, but the problem disappears under W2K with 3c996 drivers from 3COM. Moreover, the problem under FreeBSD (and WinXP) disappears if it's booted after warm reboot after W2K, but reappears after full power-off/on.

I saw this on DragonFlyBSD and FreeBSD 4 on 2466N and 2466N-4M but decide
that network card is broken.
Now this card is not used and I wait for
new one soon.
