System: FreeBSD XXX.communique.no 4.8-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE #2: Thu Jul 17 00:28:49 CEST 2003 yyy at XXX.communique.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/XXX i386
Checked with the MAIN branch mixer.c (1.20 2003/06/15 08:46:04 grog) also.
>Description:
The 5-CURRENT mixer shows the recording source when mixer(8) is
invoked without parameters.
However, the recording source is not part of the "mixer -s" output.
This reduces the usefulness of -s, and ports such as sysutils/mixer;
as the recording source may not as easily be remembered between
reboots as were it part of -s.
>How-To-Repeat:
mixer -s
>Fix:
Modify the -s handling of mixer.c, adding ' =rec <recsrc>' at the end
of the output, where <recsrc> is the recording source according to
`mixer recsrc`.
Hopefully such a change to mixer might also be MFC'd quickly.
