>Description:
I found mountroot() failure on Sep 10 2003 with the kernel
compiled on Sep 09 2003 on my NEC PC-9821Xa12/C8. I setup another
partition for / (root) on another HDD and checked what happened. The
newer kernel cannot detect properly the GEOM information of my ad0,
WDC AC2850F/27.25C38, so that /dev/ad0s1a which is to be mounted on /
is not available from devfs.

The kernel on Aug 7 2003 is working well. But the kernel on
Sep 9 2003 or later does not. Dmesg outputs of both kernels are
available at
	http://heimat.jp/~nakaji/FreeBSD/dmesg.boot.Aug07 (OK)
and
	http://heimat.jp/~nakaji/FreeBSD/dmesg.boot.Sep09 (NG)
respectively.

>How-To-Repeat:
	cd /usr/src
	make update
	make buildworld
	make kernel
	reboot
