mysql instalation on 5.1

Helo,
I have several 5.1 boxes and 
if i try install mysql323-server port on all this boxes from ports
i got this error:

checking for type uchar... no
checking for type uint... yes
checking for type fp_except... no
checking if c++ supports bool types... yes
checking if conversion of longlong to float works... Segmentation fault (core 
dumped)

If you are using gcc 2.8.# you should upgrade to egcs 1.0.3 or newer and try
again

Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql323-server.
