This works (tested in tilting mode with version 0.4).
http://ninjin-weblog.blogspot.com/2007/06/wiimote-under-freebsd-using-bsdmoted.html is a help for the setup.

It would be great if this could be integrated into bthidd (author of
bsdmote CCed)...

Some notes:

It logs too much. After powering off the wiimote it fills
the logs with reconnect tries.

It would be nice to specify the led pattern in the config file to use
for this wiimote (it is not convenient to have two wiimotes with led 1
active when the Wii and the bsdmode are in use).

Feature requests:

Being able to use the up/down/left/right buttons somehow. Either as
additional button events, or to move the mouse (best solution: make it
configurable).

Being able to use additional controllers (e.g. Nunchuk) too (again,
as additional mouse buttons or moving the mouse).

Bye,
Alexander.
