I'm pleased to announce that I've tried the new snapshot, and the keyboard
works. 
FreeBSD-14.0-CURRENT-arm64-aarch64-RPI-20210311-15565e0a217-257277.img.xz

[ There's the same issue, where a key press too early leads to a reset.  
I note that issue is not the subject of this bug report topic. ] 

If the user waits 'til it says to press Enter to press enter key,
or waits the whole time without accelerating it is working now.

work!
